Why TrialBeacon exists

Find the trial information you need without drowning in it.

  • Search and discover clinical trials without creating an account
  • Explore detailed study information, interventions and locations
  • Keep important trials together in a personal watchlist
  • Use analytics to understand the wider trial landscape
  • Core discovery works offline with personal app data kept on your device
  • The derived ClinicalTrials.gov dataset is refreshed on a monthly cadence

Who it’s for

Built for people who need to explore clinical research seriously.

TrialBeacon is designed for researchers, life-science professionals and informed users who want a focused way to explore public clinical-trial information on iPhone.

  • Researchers and clinical-development teams
  • Life-science and competitive-intelligence professionals
  • People tracking specific conditions, organisations or studies
  • Users who value offline access and a privacy-first approach

Independent, monthly-refreshed source data

Trial records originate from publicly available ClinicalTrials.gov information. TrialBeacon uses a derived dataset that is refreshed on a monthly cadence and is not affiliated with ClinicalTrials.gov or the U.S. government.

Because study records can change between dataset updates, confirm current recruitment status, eligibility, locations and contacts in the live ClinicalTrials.gov record before acting on them.

TrialBeacon is a research-discovery tool, not medical advice. A study appearing in the app does not mean the study is safe, scientifically validated, approved by the U.S. government or appropriate for a particular person. ClinicalTrials.gov disclaimer →

Privacy

Core discovery is designed to work offline.

TrialBeacon keeps personal app data such as your watchlist and preferences on your device. Core search and discovery use a monthly-refreshed trial dataset stored with the app rather than sending each search to a HanDigi server.
