TrialBeacon Privacy Policy

How TrialBeacon handles information when you use the app.

Effective: August 2026   ·   Publisher: HanDigi Studio

HanDigi Studio believes privacy information should be understandable. This policy describes the information TrialBeacon uses to provide its features and the choices available to you.

Offline by design

TrialBeacon is designed to work with a clinical-trial dataset stored in the app, allowing core search and discovery without sending each search to a HanDigi server.

Watchlist and preferences

Your watchlist, preferences and other personal organisation data are stored on your device.

No account required

You do not need to create a HanDigi Studio account to use TrialBeacon.

Clinical-trial data

Trial records are derived from publicly available ClinicalTrials.gov information. TrialBeacon is an independent browser of that data and is not affiliated with ClinicalTrials.gov or the U.S. government.

Analytics and advertising

TrialBeacon’s core privacy model is designed around offline use rather than user tracking or advertising.

Data sharing

HanDigi Studio does not sell your personal information. Information is shared only where needed to provide a feature you choose, comply with law, or use an Apple or third-party service described in this policy.

Data retention and deletion

Information stored locally can generally be removed by deleting it within the app where available or by deleting the app. Information stored through Apple services is also subject to the controls available through your Apple account and device settings.

Children

The app is not directed to children for the purpose of collecting personal information in circumstances where parental consent would be required.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
